Valesco Mortgage opened it's doors at it's Fargo location in March of 2004 and in June of that same year we opened our Detroit Lakes, MN office. Since then we have been helping local and nationwide customers purchase or build the home of their dreams, refinance into lower rates, or consilidate their debt.  Our company has always been affiliated with a chartered, which allows us to offer lending products in most states.  As an affiliate branch of a bank, we have the best of both the lending and brokering worlds.  While your typical brick and mortar or local bank only lends thier own money with fewer options, and brokers only represent their clients to a 3rd party lender, we have the ability to do both.  This allows us to offer the widest selection of products available on the market, and on a national level.  Even though we are a Bank, all we do is fund mortgage loans; we concentrate our efforts ONLY on mortgages.  That means no calls trying to sell you insurance, get your investment portfolio, checking or savings accounts, or any other things many typical banks approach you about.  We are also highly regulated by the federal and state governments, so whether we fund our own loans, or broker a loan out, you can be rest assured that none of the horror stories you hear on the news will happen when closing a loan with us.
